One downside of an IO-down orientation is accessing ports on the motherboard can be tight. For those not wanting to use a USB hub plugged into the motherboard for easy access to USB ports, this utilizes your USB 3.0 header to give you another USB port right next to the power button where it’s easy to access. This replaces your power button bracket and will reuse your existing power button and bracket screws. This item includes only the USB port/cable, screws to mount the USB port, and the bracket.
The USB cable assembly is about 12” long overall, that includes the connectors. The cable itself is about 9.75” long. As long as your motherboard has the USB 3.0 header along the top edge (as mounted in the stand) the cable should be long enough to form a comfortable bend after plugging into the header, run in the gap between the motherboard and PSU, and mount to the bracket. If your USB header is somewhere else or you’re not sure please measure.
RIght now there are a limited number of these available. I wiped out the cable supplier I found and I’m working on getting more cables!
